This policy covers the iPhone game “Finance Tycoon — Idle Trader”. It applies to the app only.
There are no accounts and no sign-up, and your game is saved on your device. The app does send anonymous usage statistics, which you can turn off at any time in Settings, and it offers optional in-app purchases handled entirely by Apple. It shows no ads and uses no advertising identifier.
Only your save: your cash, your desks and upgrades, your diamonds, achievements and settings. It lives in the app's local storage, on that iPhone and nowhere else. It is not synced to iCloud, and it is deleted entirely when you uninstall the app.
The app sends anonymous product analytics to PostHog, on servers in the European Union. It records which features get used and where players get stuck — for example that a screen was opened, that a purchase was started, or that a JavaScript error occurred. We never call any identify function, so the data is not tied to a name, an email or an Apple ID, and approximate location from your IP address is switched off.
Open Settings inside the game and switch “Anonymous analytics” off. Nothing further is sent from that moment on, and the game works exactly the same.
When something goes wrong the app records the error message and the point in the code it came from. The game runs inside a web view, where crashes never reach Apple's own crash reports: without this, a frozen screen would be invisible to us. These reports contain no personal data.
The diamond packs are processed by Apple. We never see your card, your billing address or your Apple ID: Apple confirms to the app that a purchase succeeded and the app grants the diamonds. Which pack was bought is recorded in the anonymous statistics described above, so we can tell how many people complete a purchase.
The game shows no advertising, contains no advertising SDK and does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA). It does not track you across other apps or websites, which is why it never asks for tracking permission. The in-game “Bonus” button is a free reward on a short timer — no advert is shown.
The game requests no access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or health.
Apple may give us aggregate, anonymous download and crash statistics through App Store Connect. They cannot identify any individual.
The game collects no personal data from anyone, children included. It does contain optional in-app purchases, which on iPhone are controlled by Apple's Screen Time and Ask to Buy settings.
The companies, market events and news headlines in the game are invented. It is not a financial product, it gives no investment advice, and no real money is ever invested or won.
If a future version were to collect anything more, we would update this page and the App Store privacy details before releasing it.
