2048 — Number Puzzle — Support

Last updated: 15 August 2026

Help, answers and a way to reach a human about the iPhone game “2048 — Number Puzzle”.

1. How to play

Swipe up, down, left or right to slide every tile in that direction. When two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one worth double. A new tile appears after each move. Reach the 2048 tile to win — then keep going for a higher score. The game ends when the board is full and no merge is possible.

2. Board sizes

Settings lets you switch between 3×3, 4×4 (the classic), 5×5 and 6×6. Each size keeps its own best score, so a smaller board is a genuinely different challenge, not an easier version of the same one.

3. Undo

Tap the undo arrow in the header to take back your last move. You get a limited number of undos per game; the counter next to the arrow shows how many are left. Starting a new game resets them.

4. Daily challenge

Every day the game generates one board that is the same for everybody, seeded from the date. Play it once a day to compare a run against a fixed starting position instead of a random one.

5. Themes and accessibility

Three themes ship with the game: Dark Luxury, Classic and Neon. Settings also has a Reduce Motion switch that removes tile spawn and merge animations, plus independent toggles for sound effects and haptic feedback.

6. Game Center is optional

Signing in to Game Center adds the global “Best Score” leaderboard and eight achievements. If you skip it or are signed out, the whole game still works — nothing is locked behind it.

7. My score did not appear on the leaderboard

Check that you are signed in: iOS Settings → Game Center. Scores are submitted at the end of a game, and only when they beat your previous best. If you were offline when the game ended, play one more game while connected and your best score will be resubmitted.

8. Deleting your data

All progress lives on your device. Deleting the app removes every score, stat and preference. Game Center scores and achievements are held by Apple — manage or reset those from iOS Settings → Game Center.

9. Contact

Bug, idea or complaint, write to contact@evtradelabs.com — a real person reads it, usually replying within a couple of days.
